TRAIL DISTANCE - 6 miles
TYPE - Day Hike
This was a nice short winter day hike, with
4-6 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Hiking after some fresh snowfall
is so fun, and so peaceful! This hike is in the Clear
Creek State Forest and the main highlight of the hike is the Dennison
Point Overlook. We broke trail for most of the hike until we got to the
overlook. We took a short break here while enjoying the nice views of
the Allegheny River.
This was a fun hike fairly close to home.
We saw no other hikers, except for the porcupine
on the trail!
